To Specialize or Not to Specialize? That’s the Question.

At Oracle OpenWorld last week, the folks heading up OPN (Oracle Partner Network) discussed the advantages of getting their employees specialized in the hundreds of technology products Oracle has either acquired or built organically over the last 5 years.   In fact, until recently Oracle had only offered specialization in a few key areas but since 2011 they have opened up this program to most technologies (see PDF below).                          

Oracle offers three levels of specialization: Gold, Platinum, Diamond and also an Advanced Specialization Category. As a Pinnacle Oracle Partner, TriCore Solutions believes specialization is a key differentiator in the marketplace.
